Lawrence W. Frain Lawrence W. Frain, 79, Salina, died Tuesday, June 14, 1994, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Salina. Mr. Frain was born Nov. 14, 1914, at Culver and was a resident of Salina since 1989, moving from Culver. He had worked for Evans Grain Company elevator, Culver, farmed east of Culver and worked part time for Ottawa County Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service. He was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina. His wife, Manetta, died in 1993. Survivors include a son, Jack of Salina; a daughter, Shirley Frederking of Salina; two brothers, Garold of Salina and Eugene of Forsyth, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be a 10 a.m. Thursday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church, Salina, the Rev. Curtis Fulton officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina or the church. The casket will be closed at the church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, 401 W. Iron Ave., Salina 67401. |
